Grow Rich, by being Empowered in Your Career Choices.
You may be anxious about starting a minority owned business. Perhaps, you are experiencing barriers to employment due to a physical or behavioral disability. Are you a veteran that is transitioning into the civilian work place? Or are you dealing with micro-aggressive commentary from a workplace bully? Workplace stress is a part of each and everyone’s job. Stress can be presented in many forms from dead lines to work place harassment.
Did you know I can help you navigate complex emotions in the workplace? If work life balance is a important goal to you, then working with a therapist that focuses on work stress can help you achieve that desired result.
What to Except in Your Personalized Session
I believe that therapy is not a one size fit all model. Rather it should be tailor made for the individual and their unique life goals. To reach this goal, I first conduct virtual appointments, where I will get to meet you in the comfort of your home. Sessions are a full hour dedicated to diving into your asperations, motivations, and complex emotions in the work place. Here is just a few items we might explore in session:

Developing positive coping skills for stress and anxiety in the workplace
Increasing self-confidence and esteem when asking for a raise or promotion
Developing prosocial interactions with bossy coworkers
Workplace Burnout
Money Psychology
Peer Relationship Advice
Real Career Counseling from a Subject Matter Expert (SME)
Understanding what is Labor Market Research and how to use this knowledge to gain your rich life
How to talk to your romantic partner about money without the salary differences being the power base in the relationship.
My Therapeutic Modality
I utilize several therapeutic methods to help my clients feel safe in therapy and coaching. Along with specialized training in vocational rehabilitation counseling, I employ reality based therapy, and motivation interviewing to collaborate with clients on goal setting. Additionally, expressive therapy is used frequently in session. I have a BFA in Art Therapy and graduate level course work in Art Therapy. Prior clients have informed me that therapeutic art activities correlate in decreased stress and helped them visualize vocational goal setting.
